MEGA DRIVE CHAMPIONSHIPPERY RETURNS TO PORTUGAL

Since 2005, Portugal has been a bastion of Mega Drive Championshippery awesome. Since Portuguese wizard Alberto Campos elevated his name into the realms of Portuguese national legends such as... erm... Cristano Ronaldo and... erm... Christopher Columbus? Mega Drive Tournaments have been hosted in both Lisbon and Porto, however, in June 2012 a new competition, in a new city, under the eyes of a new architect (Nuno Cunha) will be forged into the history of competitive Mega Drive gaming.

The event will be held in Braga on 16th June 2012 in Esprominho (Escola Profissional do Minho) and would be participants must subscribe to the event before the 8th June, with a €5 subscription fee payable. Games listed for the event (although they may be subject to change) are Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament, Mortal Kombat II, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Street Fighter II: Special Championship edition and World Cup Italia '90.
