LEAGUE REVIEW:

Contrary to the final points tally the true battle in Division One had not been between for the title of Mega Drive Champion, which Lord Dilks won at a canter, but between Baron Von Hooton and Mr Smith in the fight for second place. Doc Shakib had been relegated well before the event finished having deemed the second leg too much effort to attend. He slipped into the relegation zone following a 3-0 for Baron Von Hooton, against Mr Smith, on Golden Axe 2 and with no chance for redemption became the first member to be relegated to Division Two. In the lower league Professor Mizutani had set the early pace, but he was quickly overtaken by Sir Jackaman who, after losing his first game, won his remaining seven to finish a massive eleven points ahead of Professor Mizutani. Private Mary finished last. After a dismal start he won his first point in a 0-0 draw, on European Club Soccer, against Professor Mizutani before winning the final league game of NBA Jam.

KNOCKOUT REVIEW:

The inaugural Tournament Knockout was seen as an excellent opportunity for the new Division Two members to try and pull a shock result against their higher league counterparts. As the Mega Drive Championship at the Eighth Tournament, Mr Smith was awarded a bye into the Semi-Finals, however, there he was convincingly defeated by Baron Von Hooton on Golden Axe 2. Baron Von Hooton, who had beaten Doc Shakib in Round One, advanced to the European Club Soccer final against Sir Jackaman. In his path to the final, Sir Jackaman had claimed victories against Lord Dilks, on Virtua Racing, and Private Mary, in a close contest on Streets of Rage 2. He would claim a final scalp, thrashing Baron Von Hooton 3-0, becoming the first Knockout winner and the only Division Two member to win the Tournament Knockout.
