Mr Smith bounced back from finishing in third place at the Seventh Tournament to win his fifth Mega Drive Championship. Lord Dilks finished in second spot for the third successive tournament, while Seventh Mega Drive Champion, Doc Shakib, returned to a more familiar third place. Baron Von Hooton held up the table with just five points, two of which game in draws on NHLPA Hockey '93, the other three-points from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The highlight of the Eighth Tournament had to be Lord Dilks facing Mr Smith on Super Street Fighter 2, after an epic fight Mr Smith proved the victor with the narrowest 2-1 win.
