LEAGUE REVIEW:

The Sixth Mega Drive Championship marked an all time low for the tournaments. Baron Von Hooton departed from the event after just seven games and the remainder of the competition was continued, tainted by a very resentful atmosphere. Mr Smith won the league by three points, Lord Dilks finished in second place after failing to beat Doc Shakib by 9-0 (to give him the required points and goal difference to claim the title), instead losing 5-0 to Doc Shakib who finished in third place. Baron Von Hooton's walkout caused him to finish in last with no points. Despite general feelings following the even that this would be the final Mega Drive Championship, the Tournaments survived.
