LEAGUE REVIEW:

Mr Smith edged his total number of tournament wins back in front of Lord Dilks after claiming his third Mega Drive Championship victory. He finished eleven points a head of his rival who finished in third place behind Doc Shakib. This was the first occasion that the dueopoly at the top of the league table was broken and Doc Shakib achieved this by two points. Just like the Third Tournament, Lord Dilks was forced to play catch up to Mr Smith and Doc Shakib, however, this time there were no final game heroics and Lord Dilks finished in his lowest ever league position. Captain Maltby, in what was his final tournanent for four years, finished last after becoming the first member never to win a game in a single tournament. His one draw came against Lord Dilks on Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Baron Von Hooton once again finished in a fourth place limbo, although he did score one more point than in both his previous tournaments.
