Lord Dilks won his second Mega Drive Championship after an epic battle against Doc Shakib on Golden Axe 2. The 1-0 victory took 15 minutes to be confirmed after this titanic struggle secured Lord Dilks at the top of the table. Mr Smith finsihed just two points behind his rival, however, he could do little but watch as Lord Dilks snatched the title back from him. Doc Shakib was unable to keep up with the pace of the top two and finished in third place, six points behind Mr Smith. Baron Von Hooton acomplished another fourth place finish with an identical amount of points scored as in the previous tournament, albiet with a better goal difference. Captain Maltby also achieved his best performance of the early tournaments winning two of his games, both on Pete Sampras Tennis, finishing with six-points, but still in last place.
