Mr Smith won his second Mega Drive Championship having wrapped up the title after successfully holding Lord Dilks to a draw on World Cup Italia '90, he became the first member to score over one-hundred goals in a single tournament and also achieved fourty points, a fete he would later repeat at the Fifth Tournament. The excitement at the Third Tournament came between the closely contested battle for second spot. Lord Dilks had been two-points behind Doc Shakib going into their final game of Pete Sampras Tennis, but following a gruelling 7-6 battle he was able to edge himself into the runner-up spot with Doc Shakib ending up in third. Tournament newcomer, Baron Von Hooton, slotted into fourth place after being too good for Captain Maltby but unable to match the skills of the top three players.
