LEAGUE REVIEW:

The Thirteenth Mega Drive Championship hosted the smallest amount of fixtures since the First was played four years earlier. Captain Maltby returned to the tournaments and ended up in last place, scoring no points. In the months prior to the Fourteenth Tournament he agreed to be relegated to the new Division Two. Lord Dilks won the Thirteenth Tournament following a controversal game, against Mr Smith, on Road Rash 2. Baron Von Hooton finished third after thrashing Doc Shakib, 6-0, on World Cup Italia '90.

CHALLENGE REVIEW:

Although still viewed as a warm up as opposed to an actual tournament competition, the second Street Fighter Challenge continued to sew the seeds for the Challenge trophy, which would emerge the following tournament. Qualification was yet to be based on league standing and because of such a qualification round was held between Lord Dilks, Baron Von Hooton and Captain Maltby, the latter being eliminated. The small round robin elimination league would be used again at the Fifteenth Tournament between the new Division Two members. The final rankings were identical to those in the Twelfth Tournament with Doc Shakib beating Mr Smith in the final.
