It has been nearly six-months since Portugal hosted a domestic Mega Drive Championship. Following victory in the 2009 European Mega Drive Championship, domestic allies now become foes as the battle to be Mega Drive Champion begins once again.
With the 2009 European Mega Drive Championship looming large, the Eleventh Tournament was the last opportunity for members to qualify for Team Portugal. Fourteen members took place in the race to become the eleventh Portuguese Mega Drive Champion.
