If Sonic the Hedgehog 2 were a religion then this man would be a God! Mr Smith was one of the three men who took part in the original Mega Drive Championship. His spell in the tournaments lasted until the Sixteenth Championship, during which time he attained the status of best league player. Twice winning the Tournament Knockout and Eight times winning the League, Mr Smith showed a high level of competence on all the tournament games, although the only game he ever truly dominated was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. His final game was a 1-0 victory over old rival, Lord Dilks, in the Golden Axe 2 Knockout Final. With the end of that game came the end of the most successful Mega Drive career to date.
