Team England will return to European Mega Drive competition after the humbling at the hands of Team Ireland in the Anglo-Irish Tournament. The English approached the event with an arrogance that would have made Narcassis sick, and were duely hammered. England boast the oldest domestic Mega Drive competitions, with tournaments having occured since January 2001, however, on the International stage they showed to be sadly lacking. Resolute and determined, the English return with a stern resolve to win glory for their country, but whether or not they have the ability to fend off newcomers Portugal, let alon beat their Irish vancuishers, is a matter of conjecture. Some would argue England is the spiritual home of the Mega Drive, others would argue otherwise.
