The Plumb showed a potential pedagree at the Nineteenth Mega Drive Championship and displayed an aura of invcibility on Sensible Soccer. His final league position was no entirely reflective of his ability, as with half an hour remaining, The Plumb had to depart and points were deducted for his missed fixtures. Impressive performances in the Knockout saw him beat higher league opposition, in the forms of Lieutenant Gareth and Professor King, until he came undone in the semi-finals, against Commander Graham, on World Cup Italia '90. The Plumb managed to reach the Division Two Cup final, where he was beated by Captain Maltby on Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
