NINETEENTH TOURNAMENT REVIEW

Although Professor King achieved great things during his time in Division Two, he struggled with the higher difficulty head-to-heads of the First Division. Relegated after just one tournament at the top, Professor King's only points came in a inspiring victory against Commander Graham, on Virtua Racing, and a draw with Lieutenant Gareth on Sonic the Hedgehog 2. In spite of a frantically close game of Streets of Rage 3, against Earl Holbrook with the winner avoiding relegation, Professor King was unable to deliver the final blow. As he profoundly observed "there are no Old Spice's at this level". Professor King won the Sonic the Hedgehog Challenge, swifly travelling through the Green Hill Zone Act 1 in 29 Seconds.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY

Professor King spent three tournaments in Division Two before he finally achieved promotion to the top league. He narrowly lost out on promotion at the Seventeenth Mega Drive Championship by the slender margin of goal difference, however, when promotion arrived at the Eighteenth tournament he not only secured his place in Division One, but did so with a touch of style, winning the lower league by four-points. His time with the tournament elite was over swiftly as he was promptly relegated back to Division Two, with the lowest points tally since Sir Jackaman at the Ninth Mega Drive Championship. Professor King has never found success in the Tournament Knockout, but has responded well to the varying Challenge competitions, having won twice from a possible three. He has also won the Division Two Cup on two occasions.
