History

MICRO MACHINES '96

Micro Machines '96 was added at the Tenth Championship following the success of it predecessor game Micro Machines 2. Originally starting life as a Division Two title, Micro Machines '96 was continued following the collapse of the lower league and, at the Fourteenth Tournament, when time came to expand the league again to two divisions, Micro Machines '96 was included in both game pools. This fast-paced top-down racer is easily one of the most popular games in the tournaments, as members duel to move the swing bar in their favour. Memoral moments have included duels over sponges and a classic race around the treetops between Lord Dilks and Captain Maltby. Former member Lord Dilks is ranked as the overall best player by some margin, with Captain Maltby satistically ranked as best of the current participants, with seven wins from ten games.
