Baron Von Hooton has been involved in the Mega Drive Championships since the third tournament and battled at the highest level of the contests until the Fifteenth Championship. Following the departure of Captain Maltby, after the Fifth Tournament, Baron Von Hooton became the competition whipping boy, however, with the evolution of the contests to form a fairer and funner Mega Drive experience, Baron Von Hooton was able to survive in Division One during the Ninth and Tenth Tournaments when the league was split into two divisions. Although never able to challenge the duopoly of Lord Dilks and Mr Smith he did rival Doc Shakib for third place for a number of tournaments. Baron Von Hooton was relegated into the lower league at the Fifteenth Championship and although he was the favourite to return, he lost out to Commander Graham by a single point. At the Eighteenth Championship Baron Von Hooton once again failed to get promoted from the Second Division. Baron Von Hooton has reached the Knockout Final twice, but has never won that competition. He won the inagural Divsion Two Cup at the Sixteenth Championship.
